First time ever

I have never really liked sandwiches for lunch... so I never make them.  Which means my kids do not like sandwiches.  But today for the first time ever I made turkey and ham sandwiches with muenster cheese for lunch!  And just look at the girls  they love them!

Update: Maybe not. I really had to push them to finish the half sandwich.

Olivia's mole

....is gone.  Over the past few months her mole had changed.  Because of my mom's dad's melanoma and my sister's melanoma I decided to have Olivia's mole removed and tested.  For some reason this was very hard on me.  Olivia is happy bc this means no basketball tomorrow!

Take one

Here is Sam's letter to the tooth fairy.   I had to give him an etiquette lesson in how to write a letter to the tooth fairy.   I told him I did not think she would like being told what to bring as her gift yo him.  He was an easy sell.  So of course the tooth fairy brought him gum.

Take 2

Here is Sam's letter to the tooth fairy after our talk.
Seems the tooth fairy accepted.

Nor the farmer's market

We tried to go to the farmer's market,  buy they were having an art festival instead.  We had a great time walking around.  Daniel is out of town at his nephew's baptism so it was just me and the kids. Unfortunately they had fair like rides which I think detracts from the festival feel, but I did let the kids go on a ride.  We had a relaxing  morning...everyone was happy.  We must be getting older!

So blessed

Once again I found myself thinking that I live in a fairytale.  Just before I took this picture I felt So blessed.  We were staying at a nice hotel, the kids were enjoying each other playing an imagination game, Daniel and I were able to talk, and we were going downstairs for a yummy hot breakfast. The day was ours to enjoy together.  This brief description doesn't even begin to put words to the joy I felt.

Field Day

Sam and Olivia had field day at Bubb.  I am glad I can "work " at school with the kids.  I was not able to get a picture of Sam's team as I was working with the older grades.

How does this look

I a thinking of what to write.  Different than go.blogger rmail
