Cousins at Grandma's

We had a great time with our cousins. The Rosas family joined us at the end of the week. We played at the park, outside Grandma's house, and at the pool.

Easter

This was the only picture we could get of the kids in their Easter outfits!

Happy Easter

We had another visit from the Easter Bunny!!

This time Chloë understood what was happening a little better.

We expained to Olivia that she had to help her little brother and sister find the eggs and not take all of them. This is hard for Olivia because she is VERY COMPETITIVE. She did a great job.

This time the Easter Bunny left eggs filled with treats, money and notes about nice things he saw the kids do throughout the last week. Olivia liked reading and rereading all the good things she and her siblings did. Thanks Easter Bunny!

Happy Birthday

This Sunday we had the Miners over to celebrate Todd and Sam's birthdays.
Happy birthday!

One cool thing Sam got for his birthday was a globe. He and Olivia like to look at it and ask a lot of questions.

Emailing the Easter Bunny

In case you didn't know, you can email the Easter Bunny and he will come early.

We had a fun egg hunt at Barbie's house the day before we left.



Here's my hubby. We were married on Good Friday. So Easter reminds me of our marriage no matter when it comes.

Chihuly

While we were in Phoenix there happened to be a Chahuly show at the Desert Botanical garden near my parents house. We met up with a friend from my high school years. It was nice to see Barbara again.

The glass mixed in with the cacti was amazing to see.


This was my favorite piece of artwork. It was much more stunning in person.

The garden also had a butterfly tent that we were able to experience.

When we weren't swimming

The boys were working in the alley. My dad is putting in a wall of dirt to catch water from the irrigation to water the orange tree hedge.

My dad rented this tractor to move dirt.

While the boys were working the girls were getting their nails done. Well, I did not go, but Kira, Kate, Olivia, Val, Barbie and Mimi went.


The Wilsons hike Camelback Mountain a few times. I wanted to go, but it is still hard to get away from my babies.

Spring Break

We spent Spring Break in Phoenix. The Wilsons were there to enjoy the sun with us!

We had to go swimming every day. The kids had SO much fun. They feel very comfortable in the water. When we go back in the summer I am going to sign the kids up for swim lessons.



I am so grateful to Kate for helping me with my kids. She spent many hours in the pool with Chloë.

The hammock was also a big hit. After exhausting themselves in the pool, the kids would relax in the hammock.

Thirty Something

Daniel and Tom (Mandy's husband, Miles' dad) both turned 31 and 32. On the 16th.
We decided to have a trampoline party.


Everyone had a great time!
